Julie graduated in 2009 from the 2200-hour Advanced Massage Therapy Program at the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba, now known as Evolve College of Massage Therapy. As a proud member of the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba, Julie is dedicated to her profession and specializes in helping clients manage and alleviate chronic pain, which remains the primary focus of her practice.
Her treatment approach blends trigger point therapy and myofascial release techniques with Swedish massage to provide a harmonious balance of relaxation, healing, and muscle restoration. Since graduating, Julie has continually expanded her expertise through advanced education, completing courses in pharmacology and massage, the implications of surgery in massage therapy, and rapid neurofascial reset.
In January 2019, Julie became the proud owner of Turtle Island Massage, where she continues to provide compassionate, results-oriented care to her clients.
Alex graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in 2018. Alex’s passion for massage therapy comes from being an athlete himself. He is an avid runner, triathlete and kite boarder. Alex personally understands how frustrating being sidelined by an injury can be and his goal is to help all of his clients live a healthier, happier and more active life. He specializes in sports massage and is focused on treating injuries of all kinds.
A graduate of Massage Therapy College of Manitoba, Erin has practiced since 2013 with a variety of experiences and has been trained in additional methods of treatment such as cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and craniosacral therapy. The core of her massage is a deep and relentless pressure, combining direct soft-tissue release for stubborn fascial adhesions and slower-paced relaxation techniques to melt away tension in large muscle groups. Along with her dedicated attention to chronic pain and acute dysfunction in her treatments, Erin is outgoing, intelligent, and a steadfast listener. She enjoys getting to know her clients and their regular activities so she can further tailor her treatment to their needs and wellness goals. Her own passion for living an active lifestyle extends into considerable knowledge of stretches and strengthening exercises that can be easily adapted into any routine, whether it is a fast-paced environment or a sedentary desk job. Erin greatly enjoys working closely with her clients to figure out the cause of pain and dysfunction, as well as sharing the discoveries she has made on her own journey of health and wellness.
